    Unless you are going deep sea fishing go to Dularge about an hour and a half south of Lafayette. Check out reelin good charters. Best guide you’ll find for redfish and trout. Even if the fish aren’t biting he’s a good dude and will make it a fun trip. Now if you are looking for some birds Venice is a blast. I just didn’t have a great time with the couple guides for reds when I went.

    Also I grew up in Katy and my mom still lives out there. Go stros.
