Just had my leer camper shell installed and now my right turn signal isn’t working. Left works fine but the right blinks once then stops. If I try again to turn the blinker on it does nothing. I tried searching and all I have found is info about the brake light blinking when the turn signal is on but nothing about the blinker itself not working. Did the Leer dealer mess my truck up or is there an easy fix?

How is the third brake light on the shell wired in? If it’s plugged into the trailer connection, I’d start by unplugging it.

I don’t see any wires going into my trailer connection.

Ok I was looking at my trailer connection for the wiring. Yes I have that I just tried disconnecting and reconnecting. I also had my wife behind me and I have no brake light. I’m just going to disconnect it and bring it back to the dealer tomorrow I guess.

Something might be mixed around. Should be a trailer brake fuse you could check if you’re still interested in messing with it. Best of luck!

IMG_7279.jpg IMG_7280.jpg Thanks for the help. I’m already a bit frustrated with this place. The leer back glass came damaged as well. I thought it was sticker residue or something so I didn’t think anything of it at the shop but got home and it’s not coming off.

Those things cost a fortune, hopefully they make it right.

The brake light gets tapped into the tail lights not the trailer wiring. Id look inside the cap and look which taillight that tapped into, they must have tapped the wrong wire.

I’ve had it for a day. I’m not even going to start thinking about if they don’t make it right. 5500 for a cap that has a tiger striped back window is going to make me sick.

The shop I got it installed is going to get me a new rear window. It sounds like I came in and got it installed on the wrong day. I had it put on Saturday and the main guy that does all the wiring wasn’t there so he’s cleaning everything up and making the electrical wiring right. I think they have a guy back there that isn’t quite ready to be doing these hook my lights up.
