We were discussing this in the first gen section and it made me curious what tools people might consider their smartest purchase.

    Here are my top 3.

1)Harbor Freight Creeper. My wife got it for me as a gift in 2020. Side note, brake cleaner will take their logo right off. Discovered that by accident.

    2) Rigid subcompact impact. So much easier to use than the full size units.

    3) Neiko impact socket set. I got this off Amazon and it has paid for itself a few times over now.

Best tool, the one that has yet to let me down and has gotten me out of quite a few jambs, my 2 foot, 1/2” drive breaker bar. A recent second place for me is my ratcheting wrenches. Very handy.

edit: pics or it didn’t happen

I really want a set but they are pricey. What brand are yours?

Gear wrench. I acquired these from my late uncle, otherwise I was hesitant due to price as well.

This HF 1000lb capacity lift table. Makes getting heavy things in/out of the bed a breeze. Used it for installing my sliders and bumpers

That's nice. Does that handle lift it similar to how you pump a floor jack?

Handle is just for pushing/pulling/steering. There’s a foot pedal to lift it and a lever up on the handle to lower it. Can see both in this photo. Nice part is that the foot pedal and the big handle can be removed so it can be store more compactly 10CE6969-CD9D-4ECF-A2CF-06C9BA2DA9F9.png

Gotcha. Yeah, not really an item you need until you need it. I got it for moving my toolbox from one house to the next without unloading.

nice if you need to work on a lawnmower. Can jack it up and walk around it
