recently found a bench seat for my tundra to change out my captains. my tundra is a 2001 access cab and the junkyard bench is from a 2006 access cab. i searched the forum with no real answer so im wondering if these are gonna bolt as easily as a bench from a 2001 model.?

also noticed this style bench is a true bench and not a 60/40 i believe. is this bench better or should i wait out for a 60/40 bench? pros and cons?

here is a pic of the ones i found:

Looks like a 60/40 to me... same as I have in my '00.

i noticed the middle seat folds down completely in the other model where as only the center folds down in the middle of this model.

would still like to know if this 06 bench in the picture will fit in a 2001. donor is access can as well

Yes, it will fit. I went through this a year ago when I changed from captains in my 2000 to 60/40 from an 06. That’s what’s in your photo.

Oh, I see. You're right, the center seat on mine (I have an AC) has the whole backrest fold up/down for an arm rest. Is this from a Regular Cab, Long Bed?

Correct the earlier models the center seat folds completely down and does not have a headrest.
