finally got the front total chaos LT kit after saving for a year and a half

2.5” wider. Boxed lowers. At this point wait in 8 months for bypasses. Installed the mcniel front fenders and 37 nitto ridge grapplers.



Front fenders painted, LP9s added.



First real off road trip with the truck and crew at bk2baja



Another trip with bk2baja and some rear fenders

Finally stepped up to SUA kit and bypasses installed by SS built.



Another trip with bk2baja. 6 days to loreto Baja and back



And here she sits. 4 1/2 years later.

Of the 2-3 years they’ve been installed. I’ve gotten that light on the dash a few times. So generally I’d say no, at least not for me.

man question for you, who makes the SUA stuff? Trying to get my head around potentially making the transition from MT to LT but struggling to find a lot of info on rear suspensions

 

Sorry, just seeing this. For The spring under kits, their aren’t many out there. Mine is from a company in Arizona called ss built. Small shop, has mostly tundras in his shop. I believe dirt king and camburg also offer them. Essentially you just need the deaver springs from
Deaver. And then the spring under kit to flip the spring mount to under the axle. The cost comes into play with the 14-16” shocks cutting the bed and the bed cage to mount shocks. I kinda miss the mid travel I had. It was great for daily driving and mild off roading. Bypasses are loud. They click and clack all day long !!!!
