Just wondering if anybody’s wind deflectors are causing the window to pop back down “safety measure” after installing wind deflectors. Id like to get some but don’t really want my window constantly retreating when rolling it up. Let me know the brand and style if they work good or if they pop back down on auto up.Thanks for any info.

I have the same on my 22 and have had them about as long. I’ve had 0 issues through 2 winters.

i have the EGR's and their installation instructions say to sort of pull the window visors out a bit while rolling up the window. when the window is fully up, keep holding the button so it works its way upwards. then leave it closed for as long as possible (overnight maybe?) so it seats in there. i had a few problems with it not accepting the window visors on my passenger side, but i was able to get it to fit properly without the safety mechanism rolling back down.

I have the EGRs as well. They look great and for the most part operate as they should. Every once and awhile the windows struggle to close due to safety mechanisms. Only the fronts, never had an issue with the rears. But …I’m starting to experience wind noise… I’m thinking these are playing a factor. I’m planning on removing to see what happens.

EGR here They will pop back now and then
I just get it closer and I do small touches till its closed completely
If you can, pass some W40 with your finger, lightly once a month on the rubber top of the window it will slide in a little easier
You know what I am saying

EGR here to,great fit looks proportionate with window gaskets & zero problems closing but when window is down I do have some rattling, I will need to put thin application of two way tape on them when it warms up.
