Question for you guys.. So.. first mod to truck.. Kenwood DNR1007 XR, Rockford Fosgate speakers to replace all and a 12" Sub, new amp. Kenwood Dash cam and added a front cam to look down kind of while offroading, and the Escort Radar Detector which integrates to it all..And the Maestro bluetooth model. A lot to learn at once!
Trying to rip dvd concerts to a USB stick. Kinda sucks you have to disconnect CarPlay to use it. But anyway, couldnt find how to search the files on the stick. Called Kenwood. They were nice. Lady explained the file structure necessary to correctly view the files, and the limitations.. Formatting in fat32, then utilizing a file structure with subfolders, so the first tier can hold 8 folders, the next tier 999, and the next 999 (maximum) .. So the actual music files need to be in the third tier of the files.. So I did all that, but still cannot search them. As soon as I hit the USB source button, it randomly pics something to play. The tech (and the manual) indicate on clicking on a looking glass icon to search it, but I never see it.. As I said . As soon as I hit USB, it plays something.
Anyone know the answer to this ?
    Thanks in advance!

Figured it out. I don't see this in the documentation anywhere, and it took 8 calls to tech support, they only figured it about 40% and I think I did 60% lol..
What you have to do, is when the video begins to play, you have to touch the screen in the center, at the bottom.. Then the screen with the search and controls pops up! Sheesh.. You think that their techies would know that off the top of their head lol. But at any rate, its solved!

    Pretty much ;)
Actually, more listening to them. Love LIVE music, and there are a number of DVD concerts that were never released on a cd etc... They sound great !
