I was going back and forth between the making this parody post in 2nd gen forum or posting in the 3rd gen forum. Ended up pulling the trigger with the 2.5gen forum because frankly I think we have great senses of humor here. Just curious as to what you lads think when seeing a guy in a truck? Is it sexy or off putting? Or is it based entirely on how good of a job he does parking or backing up a trailer in it?

If a guy has a truck, I check out his driveway to see if he has a legitimate reason for having one or if he's just trying to look cool. I definitely judge my neighbour who wears a shirt and tie to drive his truck to work.

If only you could see all the sideways glancing, jaw-dropping, sun glass lifting, eye glass cleaning, conversation pausing, drink overfilling, food in to lap dropping, walk on water, maddeningly mystical magical ogling I get whenever I drive anywhere in my truck... well, you would have your answer.

Trucks are tools and I value tools, especially capable white robust tools with 5.7 liter Toyota V8 engines. So if a man has a capable truck, my brain automatically places that man in the asset category. However, any man with a white 5.7 liter Toyota Tundra is automatically placed in my brains admired assets or honorable category.

I'll say it: size matters, and so does knowing how you use what you have.

If dude can do a u-turn in one go, at every intersection where a u-turn is legal, that's sexy as hell. But if he doesn't go out as far as his lane allows into the intersection and back again... and instead wimps out and has to do a 3 point turn while blocking all of us behind him from making the turn before the damn light changes, I know he'll never drive my truck. :angrygirl:

    * I have this same reaction with women that cannot do a u-turn. As my friend, Jim, said, it's not the vehicle, it's the driver.

Message for OP. Life is bigger than whatever this thread is about. People need to stop worrying about what the rest of the world thinks about them and buy what they want or need to have. The need for attention has been overamplified by social media and the ability to get random feedback online from people you don’t know and will never meet and using thatfeedback to validate something. Needing some CHICK to like you because of what you drive is not a great way to find a LADY that actually likes you for you. Hopefully you wanted or needed this truck for you and you enjoy it because of that. Don’t worry about the world, it doesn’t really have anything to do with your life. Friends and family will love you and support youregardless of your possessions.

I don't judge anyone for why they have a truck. They could live in an apartment with no "toys" and drive a 3/4 ton if they want. It's their choice and I have no place to judge someone for a decision that they make that doesn't affect me.

Just like someone buying a Corvette or a Ferrari. Legally they're not allowed to go over the speed limit so the extra power is useless if you don't take it to the track. But if they want to drive that vehicle to and from work and then park it, then that's great for them.

isn't it funny how men do all the things that we think women are attracted but only ending up attracting other dudes?

not that there's anything wrong with it, but may be we don't understand anything at all.

I low key judge people on the truck they drive, for example dodge Ram driver is the overly agressive type, f150 driver is the suit and tie kinda person, toyota person has been burned by other brands, gmc is the old guy.
Jacked up diesel with a slip tank, tool box, oversized spare in the bed with just enough room left for a suitcase? definantly working O&g.
