What is this rattle can job hiding?

    The undercarriage on this 05 DC has been given the ol' rattlecan once over. Hard to tell if it's hiding something serious of if someone was trying to mask some surface corrosion. What do y'all think?

    I think walk away. If someone knew enough to specifically rattlecan the frame, they knew it was bad enough without paint to dissuade a buyer. Marinate on that for a sec.

    The frame probably looks about like the exhaust hangers, frankly.

    I’d stay away. It’s caked on too thick to really know. If it were thinner, I’d say to look for imperfections in the surface to show corrosion, but it’s not worth guessing.
