    UPDATE: It was a speaker.

My wife is driving my truck and called me to say it just started making a loud “clunk” noise when powering off. She says it happens even when the engine isn’t on and she shuts it off from the “on” mode. To clarify, it makes this noise when powering down regardless of the engine is on or not. I’ll attach a couple of videos.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe something in the audio system, have her check that audio is off.

Great suggestion, we just checked it out.

Turned audio off, and the subwoofer all the way down. No change.

No, I think it may be the subwoofer. Gonna have to check it out when I get home.
