Replacing coolant and heater hoses

Hello to all, looking to change out coolant in my 2019 and wanting to changeout all hoses associated with heater, radiator and any others associated with system. Appreciate any schematic drawings on hose locations.

 

Go to https://www.sparksparts.com/ and enter your VIN# in the search than you can pull up all the schematics with part#s down to every nut, bolt and fastner. Click on "Cooling System". That should be what your looking for

I would not change hoses unless they are stiff, cracked or leaking. OEM hoses are good quality and can last 20 yrs or more

 

I agree. You might do more harm than good because of so much plastic parts used in modern cars.

 

Why are you changing all your hoses on a 2019? My 2014's hoses are still very pliable with no signs of excess wear after 170k miles. They are not really a routine maintenance part on these trucks.

 

I would swap the hoses out especially if you’re installing a brand new radiator. Better to replace everything once, than having to go back because you waited 10 years to replace them. HPS hoses are good quality made of silicon 3-ply and withstand heat up to 300 degrees. I doubt those rubber hoses OEM do.
