Picked up my 2023 Limited TRD Off-Road Magnetic Gray Metallic at the end of August as a certified pre-owned with 4k miles. It already had 285/65R20 BFG KO2. Big plans, but a slower build, to turn it into an overland camping rig to take my family out exploring. My kids want to see lots of national parks and forests. The short list starts with Big Bend and Padre Island National Seashore. Got a few big mods kind of quick cause I fell into some good deals, but the next big mods will be a bit out.

First was the TRD grille decals, the Bulletpoint dash tray phone mount and the ScreenProTech dash and NAV matte screen protectors. Some where around here I also blacked out the badges and emblems and added the auto start-stop disable module.

Then I got a great deal from Rob @RevereOverland on the CBI roof rack height bed rack after he upgraded to his AT Habitat.

I had a a work trip, so I used that as an excuse to get some dirt under the tires. I followed the Chisholm Trail Byway, as shown in OnX Offroad, south to north. All the water crossings were dry but the views were pretty and it was nice to get used to the dirt road handling.

While up north, I picked up a Decked box with 2 each of their crossboxes and d-boxes for $1k.
I added the Rago bed channel stiffeners as well, installed in a hotel parking lot. No pics of those yet.

Finally, a buddy upgraded to a hard top tent, so I bought his OVS Nomadic 2 extended RTT for $600. Judging by the shoes at the base of the ladder, the kids were clearly quick to explore and enjoy the tent!

All ready for family camping trips now, including Big Bend and PINS. I plan to add bumpers, sliders, full skids and suspension at some point, but those will be save for and one at a time options.

Thanks for looking and all the info I've learned here so far!

Took my son out to explore the Sam Houston National Forrest for his birthday. Got some mud under the tires and made some great memories. Also, you have to stop an Yankee's Tavern for a cheeseburger if you happen to be anywhere near by.
