It looks nice, but my jeep has so much lift and droop that the tires would probably still touch the ground when it maxes out! But I'd love a low profile version of that for the M3. I've almost bought one a few times

Rear sway bar arrived! So that's all suspension parts on.

Have the rear set to lowest level of lift. Pretty much the same height as stock air bags set to high.

M3, I'm currently searching for a 470 for myself. You learn anything along the way I should be looking out for specifically?

    1. The A/C drip line is located just above the frame rail near the front passenger side tire, rear part of wheel well. Check there for rust.
    2. The brake calipers are known to seize. One of mine was obviously replaced already, yet another is partially seized. Will be doing a BBK upgrade eventually.
    3. If you plan on doing a stereo upgrade, DO NOT get a 470 with the Navigation package. You'll just have to revert to a Non-Nav HVAC controls first, which will set you back an additional $2-300.
    4. Don't get a KDSS version (sport models will have it) Just another expensive unnecessary eqiupment that can fail or run into issues when doing suspension work. It's an adjustable sway or track bar thing, i forget which. But mine is without it.
    5. Air bags notorious for failing. Mine had already been replaced previously, yet one was still failed.
    6. The factory magnetic adjustable shocks are a PIA to remove if there is any rust on the upper bracket.
I think that's all the normal issues I've read about and encountered.

I got the job in Dallas! Will very much miss CO, but I'd rather be happy with job I have moresoe than where I live (for the most part. I'm from Dallas originally)

Thanks! Yes, moving to Plano area in next month or two.

Yesssss! I'll be able to drive the M3 with the top down more throughout the year! Not as much rock crawling for the jeep though....

Well, moving and house buying is gonna suck, but hopefully this is the right direction and also right move the next while.
Time to get another Tundra now that you are down here....

A lowered tundra would make more sense down there than up here lol. I'd still love to do an AWD RCSB S/C tundra!

Well, with the road conditions as it is, I am not sure about the lowered part, but the Tundra part is good and makes sense.
AWD RCSB S/C Tundra checks all the boxes. One of my co-worker actually has a 2G (or was it 1st? Can't remember) single cab long/short bed with Toyota installed S/C that he's taking back from his Father in Law (since he's 80+ some and too old to be driving cars) I actually was kinda wanting to see it in person....

    Thanks All!

Ya I'm going to keep all three. I plan on moving super close to work so mpg isn't really a concern. Also I like my vehicle to stand out a little bit. My fender choice definitely gets noticed, but Jeeps in Denver are freaking everywhere! It should get a little more eyeballs on it at car meets in Dallas lol

I did an MPG calculation on the Jeep the other week for the first time in the two years I've owned it. Came out to 13mpg! I was surprised since it's almost 6" of lift, on 37" tires. I did do the Flashpaq tune on it, which made a noticeable difference in driveability. Did the preprogrammed 91 Octane Tow & Haul tune which was recommended for large tire/hilly terrain driving. Also used it to correct the speedo. I still need to regear the Jeep from 4.10 to 5.13's

Not gonna tell you that moving super close to work is a bad idea, but just imagine if you were offered a better job/pay two years from now in the same city, but different side/part of town, will you move again?
When I got my current house, I looked for 3 thing: cost (cash is king, and early 2020 pandemic was not ideal), location/school (I got two small kids, so yea) and distance to work. I know I can only pick two at best, three at the wildest dream. so I picked cost and location, which the main reason I got it at where I am now. I am also currently job hunting now and I know it may/may not be anywhere close to home, but at least the neighbors are good and location is super nested in a residential area (I mean, 7 mins to main roads, that's how far inside I am), and I converted two neighbors to Tundra with mine, and three more to Tacos due to their need for work/pleasure.

Signed a 2 year lease for a townhouse in Dallas. Farthest North Dallas possible lol, Plano is just across the street. Work is just 7 miles away. It only has a one car garage, though. And I think it's in an hoa...gonna have to figure something out with the Lexus. Parents reluctantly agreed to store it temporarily, lol.

I thought about selling my house. But I refinanced at 2.85% and it's never going to be that low again. Plus I've owed the house for 12 years, ton of equity. In the process of speaking with a property mgmt company, but it seems like I'd turn a small monthly profit renting it out, even after their cut.

So I'll plan on doing that for 2 years while paying things off and saving up cash. Then look for nice place to buy with a kitted out garage lol

One car garage? I'd hate that, my 2 car is too small.

    lol

    Congrats.

Ya, it's gonna be hard with one car garage and three cars lol. I may look into any garage rental places in the area. There should be something.

I definitely want a 2 car attached, with a detached 3 car work shop for my next place! I gotta start saving up! Fingers crossed I'm in a new house in 2 years

I’ve got an attached two car and detached 3 car with a toilet and an office. It’s what sold the house as my tools and project cars and my tundra can all fit in it and the wife has her attached so she never has to be in the elements. I just wish they had built the ceiling about 10’ higher so I could put a lift in. Right now it’s just a standard 10’. But fully decked and insulated attic and all the walls are insulated and the windows are double paned. 240v. Air pipes in multiple locations. BIL and I pulled fiber to it this thanksgiving so now I’ve got full internet. Need to pipe water from the bathroom sink to the fridge so I’ve got ice and water.

    Sorry. I’ll stop bragging now.

Tundra is currently in the attached while her car is getting some maintenance done at the shop. Mama doesn’t like being uncomfortable. The 4Runner goes for inspection tomorrow and if it checks out, becomes the daily.
