Hi guys. Retiree, some part time carpentry stuff. Living in Hawaii, Toyota territory.
Long time Taco owner, thinking of a 07 Tundra from a used car lot, for more hauling ability. 60k miles, $15k. Single cab, looks great. Initial ad, recently changed, said timing belt changed at 55k. Kinda sus to me. Anything I should look for?

Welcome from OKC! Look for frame rust.
    How about a trailer?
Does the wear on the brake pedal pad match the mileage?

I’ll check frame and pads plus rotors. Good idea.

It’s listed at “Shaka boy’s” car lot. Waipahu. They been there for years.

It does look pretty good and sometimes good luck is a thing. I'm sorta wondering if it wasn't being preserved for some reason and wound up in a flood and then sold though. Maybe check for indications of flood exposure.

I thought 07 and up Tundra's have timing chains
For an 07 that thing looks in great shape and super low miles (maybe not in HI?)
Only one fuzzy pic but if I could find low mile rc like that around here I'd be all over it

You’re probably right. They pulled the add that mentioned the belt or chain, my memory’s the problem. My first thought was why would a 50k Tundra need a new chain? And if it broke, what internal damage was or was not fixed. Think I’m going to ask if I can take it to Toyota for a checkout.

Just posted as sold. Think I dodged a bullet. The seller claimed “working for” Shaka boyz..
    Appreciate the advice..
