Finally posting up a thread on my progress since owning my 2016 Tundra Double Cab. I'm based in Nevada and camp all over. I have parts on my truck from many of you forum members and have learned a ton here that helped me build this up! I'll make one initial post then update it as I go.

What I am rocking with now:

Camping on the northern Rim of the GC after Overland Expo west in '23.

    Build :

    Stock, first weekend:

    First Upgrade:
285/70/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on 18 Fuel Vectors. I am still running this set up but on my second set of tires. Highly recommend Discount (America's) Tire Warranty.

    Good test run

Couple months down the line I picked up a new RCI Bed rack 12" and found a great deal on an ARB Simpson 3 tent. We hit the road to Oregon and put it through a couple nights of rain. This is on the dunes at Winchester Bay, Oregon.

    - Some typical overland mods

    Suspension:

Installed TRD Pro Fox Shocks from a member here. Initial impressions were awesome. The off road difference from the stock shocks was huge. Towed my girl's tacoma down to a buddy's with a lift. Swapped out shocks on both trucks.

    Lighting:

I have dual hidden grill bars.

    - Swapped out main and fog headlights with OEM LED upgrades. Shoutout iHacker harness. Real facelift for the truck!

    - Added some rear-facing chase lights. I run in groups here and there and it's very dusty in my area. These really help visibility night and day. Amazon specials.

    Interior Mods:

I've recently deleted the 2/3 back seat and built a rough platform for an iceco fridge. I'm planning on making a finished version this season with carpeted platform and nicer wood. I have this platform bolted to the truck using the seat mounting bolts.
I never really have a 4th passenger so this works fine for me. The additional interior space is very handy since I do not lug around the the fridge full time.

    Truck Bed:

    - Installed a 5.5' ROAM Awning with RCI Awnings mounts. This photo was taken right before heading out for Overland Expo West Flagstaff 2023.
    - Maxxtrax Mounted as well

    Decked -

Just recently found a local deal on a decked system for my truck that I could not pass up. Always wanted this system but they are not cheap new... Installed and the next day it was weather tested with snow, so far so good.
    - Removed Cali Raised Molle panel to make room.

I'm about to tackle a suspension rebuild, get the steering rack replaced and swap brakes/rotors on all 4 corners. I'll report back once this is all completed.
    - 6112/5160 Combo with CB Shims 2/1
    - Icon RXT Pack, Rear Brake Line Extension Kit

What made you go from TRD Pro shocks to the Bilstein setup? Increased lift? Truck looks great. Amazing camping spots too, the west is so much different from what I camp in the east here.

Primarily that my TRD shocks were fairly worn and abused by two owners. Myself and the first owner. I added a decked system recently and my truck was miserable to drive. Settled on the 6112/5160 combo + rxt pack because I was looking for a bit better on-road ride than I had since I do quite a bit of long-distance driving. I'm hoping they can keep up with what I came to expect out of the trd pro set up off road.

500 miles so far and loving them. I am carrying around 300lbs at least and my truck still has a 2" rake. I'm hoping once I add the 180lb tent that I can still keep some lift in the rear. Overall, drives great and my truck sways much less with the weight.

Working on my final rear platform this week. will post updates.

Been busy camping all over northern Nevada so haven't made much progress on the build.

Loaded up my tent a few weeks back and after adding that additional 200lbs, my truck ended up level with option 2 on the RXT pack. Considering going up to option 3. This is with a fully loaded decked system, rack and RTT.
Got some pics showing loaded with the tent and one with the tent and RZR. Recently blew the motor on my rzr... so my truck mods will take a financial pause to get that taken care of. Big time bummer.

Wrapped up a recent off road trip with my local group. Went up to Portola area for a night run and made a short video. Got to see the northern lights from the perfect view.. fun trip. Got some RZR content on my channel as well.
