Hey everyone, I have a 2007 5.7L with a 6” lift on it. I’ve had the lift for 3 years now and am wanting to put some 35s on with a new wheel setup. However, I know there are some weak points in the OEM suspension system and was wanting input on what items I should replace to run this bigger tire setup.
Also the lift kit is a Rough Country setup fyi.

Less weak points in OEM suspension vs RC lift IMO. If the OEM springs are still good, not sagging and shocks are strong with no leaks there is no concern running 35s. People run 35s or similar heavy tires on stock PROs or level kit trucks with no issues for hundreds of thousands of miles.

Address any suspension or steering issues if you have them but if everything is in good order and serviceable, running 35s on a tundra is pretty ordinary.

Thanks man! I have a some bump steer with the setup I have now, but found a bushing kit for the rack and pinion. Would you consider it ideal to replace the ball joints UCA and LCA or same the money?

I would not replace parts unless they are worn/damaged. If they are tight and functional, run em.
