For all the electrical experts, I'm trying to figure out what type of shielded cable Toyota uses to connect the JBL Stereo to the amp. Toyota uses a 4 conductor and a 2 conductor shielded but I don't happen to know what type of cable they use. Does anyone happen to know? Here is the wiring diagram

What is it that you are trying to accomplish? There are two harness under the passenger seat, one to the amp from the HU, and one from the amp to the speakers, they are just regular wires.

I want to know what type of cable Toyota uses to wire the JBL HU to the JBL amp via the J141 24 pin connector, there is a 4 conductor shielded cable and a 2 conductor shielded cable that Toyota uses to connect them.

I got a cheap JBL HU and the JBL amp from a 2014 tundra savage as I’m trying to install it in my Non-JBL 2019 tundra Limited. Call me crazy but i got the HU for $80 and the amp for $70 cheap from my local junkyard as well as the front dash speakers, front woofers, rear woofers and tweeters, I have everything to install it and I know what to de-pin and repin the wires from NON-JBL to JBL locations on the J142 and J143 connectors, coming from a 2017 tundra platinum I had the JBL system in it and to me it was adequate and enough for my taste, I hate the NON-JBL sound on the tundras, that is why I’m asking what type of cable Toyota uses to connect the JBL HU to the JBL Amp via the J141 connector, I know they use a 4 conductor shielded cable and a 2 conductor shielded cable but I don’t know what kind of cable they use and that is what I’m trying to figure out.

Gotcha, I would make a new harness to connect the two a new harness rather than chopping the wires if you already know what pins you need to connect, and then it is plug and play after the new harness is built. I used these ones on my build, as have many others.

But to answer your question, I dont think there is anything special about the stock wiring, I think is regular copper wire with insulation.

Ok cool, yeah I'll use the autoharness, is this good for the shielded cable that I was mentioning?
