You're talking about the Tourtop, correct? You can get it from Ruggedbound

Yeah, they're currently out of stock, but I found it in stock at an overlanding website called spirit of 1876 and just purchased it. Thanks for the write up!

Are you running stock brakes still?

I am, but I'll likely end up ordering the Wilwood kit. Seems that might be the only one that fits with 17's.

I assume the Wilwood kit would have to be in the OE size to still allow 17's to fit. Besides more Instagram flair points, what would be the benefit from a stock sized Wilwood kit?

A OE size kit wouldn't provide any additional braking force because the rotor is larger, so your only benefit I can see would be reduced fade, which you could probably accomplish with steel braided lines, synthetic fluid and a more aggressive pad compound.

Possibly a thicker rotor with better cooling veins?

Honestly, all good points that I'm not sure I have all the answers to. I'm open to opinions about options. All I know is these stock brakes will not cut it much longer in Colorado, but I really don't want to go to an 18 just to fit larger brakes.

It's been a while since I've posted some updates on the build but I've been spending time trying to dial this thing in for some longer trips/camping we have coming up this year. Most recently I've been playing with the bed setup. I really wanted something to keep our gear secure and not rolling around in the bed, especially while the dogs are back there. Ultimately, we decided the new Decked system fit our needs perfect. The larger drawers fit a lot of what we take with us and still leaves plenty of room for the dogs to lay down and gives them a more comfortable platform.

Also fit the Iceco fridge/freezer to see how it would sit. Just need to find some good straps to hold it down and eventually run power to the Super Pacific so I can run it off the battery while we drive. In the meantime, we'll be helping prototype a new portable battery setup that should be pretty sweet for camp.

Working on lots of lighting in the Super Pacific as well. Got some sweet 3D printed mounts for some Baja Designs rock lights that I'm now realizing I've taken no pictures of but I will show you guys that when everything is wired up. I think the plan is to run a second Garmin Powerswitch in the bed for all of these lights and anything else we decide to add down the road.

Lastly, got the 3D printed mount from BZShopDesigns on etsy for my 3rd brake light. This utilizes 4 Baja Designs rock lights that I've configured as 2 red for brake and 2 amber for chase. I messed with tapping into the tail lights for way too long with no luck. Took the truck to my buddy at Blaze Offroad who specializes in high quality wiring and he got me set up with an in line trailer brake harness that's nearly plug and play. Anyways, enjoy some pics.

Yep he's an awesome dude! I try to do my own wiring where I can, but this one really stumped me. I use all his wiring harnesses for my lights now. They're so much better than what I can make lol
