I have a 2008 Toyota tundra crew max SR5. Just the other day I was installing a back up camera behind my aftermarket stereo and Alpine halo 11 inch screen, and I must’ve hit something back there, because when I did my buzzer for the door door was going off, and then it went away quit making noise. And now my truck won’t start. It will crank and turn over but just won’t start. Almost like the anti-theft thing that is in your key, the chip, is messed up, but I tried both my keys and they do the same thing. It was running fine up to that point. Does anybody know what wire or what harness behind the stereo would Call my truck not to start and maybe the anti-theft is in place. Please help.. also I’m not 100% sure that’s what did it but I am assuming that’s whatk did it also I had a cylinder misfire code right before it happened also but it is no longer there. I cleared it.

Time to go back in and undo whatever work you preformed. Something is unplugged, wire cut, something amiss from your install. I would also check any related fuses before taking it all apart. If you didnt disconnect battery before the work you could have easily popped some fuse. Fuses located under driver in cabin and also in the truck engine bay.

Maybe you touched two wires and blew a fuse? Also possible that it's coincidental.
