Oh it's possible. You just have to roll up like a beetle and hold the plate with your knees to do the back two bolts. Then do the front 3. Then pull the back two off to get the spacers on then zip it all down.

I did forget to mention the new 1/2" socket decoration I added to my truck. Yeah, it's fucking stuck on one of those skid plate bolts like...well....I can't think of anything witty to say. But it's fucking not coming off. 13mm was a tad loose, so 1/2" it was. All the others came off and went on with ease. Except that one.

All yours homie. Shoot me a text and I'll get em sent your way.

As for the bumpstops, I've seen how expensive those are. I'll need a deeper dive into why they're worth it.

I always put a ratchet on and set it to loosen. Couple little taps in the opposite direction usually knocks it out without loosening the bolt.

my vote is to use a plasma cutter though.

I did. I beat it like it owed me money. I pryed on it with a 12" bar. I bet it makes it with me all the way to AZ. I did, however, come up with a solution while taking my stuck 24mm bolt out for the rear diff. I can just zip the bolt out and beat the shit out of it from the socket side. It was getting dark and I was far too sober to have such a good idea.

What shocks are those? My 6112's are the same overall length as stock, but might get into spring bind under full compression.

I know I said I'd make it to T2S this year, but I'mma have to pass again. I ain't leaving my boys while we're still in the SIDS window. At least till it's easier on the LOML at home.

By my choice, my life be on hold for the short term. Gots to take care of the babies :)

I don't know who all is attending. @Sunnier @FirstGenVol @bmf4069 @FrenchToasty. Y'all tag anybody else that needs to see this.

I just lay on my creeper, then put my skid plates on my chest/ belly, then roll under the truck. Usually use my knees to support it while I get the bolts started

It's not that's hard to remove and reinstall the hitch. I'll bring my impact next weekend. Let me know if you need me to bring anything else.

You talking about the vanity mirror lights?
    My 06 has lights, 03 don't.
Both have map lights by the rear view mirror.

Yea, should have said sun visor lights, they're more handy than the map lights for maps & pouring coffee while driving, but maybe i just need to do the map light mod.

I nuked a bat on the way home tonight. Felt bad, guy was chasing a big ass moth, he swooped down and flew right into my passenger side head light. Heard him hit. No damage or blood luckily.

We have multiple bat bridges in town, it’s quite a site to see all of them emerging at once…… what’s even cooler is watching a hawk take out 2-3 of them in one sitting!!!
