Roof tracks…

Hey guys, looking to add a Prinsu rack across the entire top of my rig…cab and shell. (I’m aware this will require drilling…I’m okay with that). I have tracks installed on my shell. If I install tracks on my cab before installing the rack…will both racks sit level with one another?

 

While I can't fully answer your question, I was just looking at Prinsu's rack feet for the tracks on my ARE. They are not height adjustable. https://prinsu.com/product/leer-mounting-feet/

 

I think the height/level will be close, but don't think you should run a solid rack from cap to cab. There is a lot of flex between the cab and bed in everyday driving. A one piece rack along that length would make your connections a failure point.

 

And my leer cap tracks are slightly higher than cab tracks. Maybe 1 inch?
