Isn't there like 130K miles, or more, on this truck?

    no, thats normal odometer reading.

you have to translate that info "Euro miles", so the actual is more like 475K.

True. I was just trying to clarify for the guys who are questioning the trade in value. Not only are the miles abnormally high, they've been extremely tough miles, too. Not a great combo for retaining the value on a truck. Add 37" tires that required cutting to fit, body damage, scratches, redneck repairs to damage, etc..etc..and I'm not at all surprised the trade-in value is in the teens.

Plus, if the speedo hasn't been recalibrated then with 37s the mileage is higher than what the odometer reads.

Sorry, @Eurodriver not trying to dogpile or anything. You use your truck like a truck, but more than that it's had some "rode hard and put away wet" moments as well. That's going to take a toll on the resale. Legit question, are you opposed to just keeping the Tundra as a trail/beater to preserve your HD truck longer?

How much are you paying the dealer to take it off your hands? You have to be losing what, $20,000 or more. Pay yourself and keep it.

Euro, you are freaking out the lifted Tundra owners with oversized tires for looks, they don't realize what actually going offroad does to their pavement princess. They might get dirty and a few scratches. The other soccer dads at the starbucks would frown on that.

    Good work.

Yup. If you want a real ranch truck, a flat bed is the way to go. Install a headache rack with a winch mounted to the top of it. You'll be surprised how useful it is, including for dragging dead critters onto the bed.

Is this factory leather? I didn’t realize you could get it without perforation for the a/c.

My buddies F250 Tremor with Fox 2.5 shocks and 37” tires road so bad his wife would get nauseous in the back seat if we took his truck to town. Front seat was better, but still pretty rough. We aired him down to 50psi and didn’t improve much. Not sure if the Fox shocks hurt or helped him. Seemed like an upgrade over factory.

Superduty’s beat the hell out of you. The cost of HD suspension and solid front axles.

I hate driving them down old oil field roads in west Texas. It’s brutal with the washboard rutting.

@Eurodriver, you had 130k+ miles a few weeks ago, right? What is it up to now?

If I were a 3rd genner, I would take comfort in the sheer number of miles you’ve racked up on that truck.

Sorry to hear that the dealership used the open recalls as an excuse to blow you off. Open recalls never stopped a dealer from taking a trade in from me. Didn’t stop the dealer from taking mine with both the open fuel line recall (I mentioned I had the interim fix done already) and the “truck moving on its own” recall. However, dealers here are still starving for used vehicles so maybe that’s played into it.

    You are in Florida, right?
I remember reading a quote from a guy that sold his family orange farming business (multiple generations of ownership) in Orlando in the late 90s. He said it was more profitable planting yankees than orange trees.

Just one more off topic from me.
I live in Brandon, FL. While looking for a home to buy, I noticed a home built in 1983 on 10 acres recently sold for $1.3 Million very near me. This went to the original owners.

In come the developers and destroy the house, completely clear the land, put two large retention ponds in the front and some infrastructure. A sign went up in the last few days for Homes in Hidden Lake, starting at $700,00!!!

What a deal, LOL! So Giant houses on small lots.

Keep making more noise so you can't hear the noise complaints. :notsure:
I once heard a neighbor ask another if he knew who was making all that pew pew noise one weekend. They didn't ask me so I didn't tell them. Lol.
