I’m wiring up my ARB compressor and my 3rd gen tundra I need to know which wires to tap into on the switches on the left side of the steering wheel. I think the beige wire is 12 V source does anyone know which wire is the dash illumination wire in the dummy switches thanks.?

The light tan or beige wire is the circuit that is hot when the headlights\running lights are on for backlighting.

If your compressor draws a lot of current I would suggest going in to the passenger footwell area fuse block to get a 12volt source. Remove the plastic horizontal panel covering the below dash wiring and you will see it.

It’s all wired correctly, just need to find a 12v source. I took the 12v wire and stuck an external 12v source too it and compressor cut on. The light on button works too.

For the main compressor power or to provide backlight power for the switch illumination?

Genuine question. You don't need to power the compressor directly off the battery with a thicker gauge wire that can handle the draw and length? I thought compressors were one of those devices that should be wired directly to the battery because they could draw upwards of 50 amps under load?
