SAAB was FWD only. It was a decisive point against me buying the last 95 Aero wagon in MA. So it happened to be a prosaic Volvo XC70.

It sounds like you need to treat yourself to a smaller pulley, injectors and a tune. An extra 60-80hp over the standard SC kit is….nice.:burnrubber:

I can, and (accidentally) have, done that in my '20 Tundra as well. (Though I concede it might be easier in the 3rd Gens.)

If I can get 630hp by going down a rabbit hole then I’ll crawl right into that bitch. Where’s my flashlight?

You joke, but I bet more people believe that than there are members of this forum.

Every couple months I peek at the Tundra towing group on FB, just to see what the average person on there is pulling. It's pics of everything from 10k-lb 39-ft bumper pulls to smaller 5th wheels and toy haulers. The heaviest loads are always with 2nd/2.5 gen trucks.

One guy posts pics of his 2nd gen hooked up to a gooseneck loaded with giant hay bales that he says weighs 18k lb. There are a few regular "ARE YOU INSANE?!" responses.

I keep expecting to see posts from the overloaded crowd about failures or worn out axle bearings, but haven't seen any yet.

That is because everyone on that forum is too poor for the 3rd gen. Have you seen where max torks are generated? It's like, at 137 rpm or something.

    I don't know, man...if I were poor, I’d buy a 3rd gen to save gas money.
