2017 Tundra VIN

Greeting, I recently bought a 2017 Tundra.

Does anyone have any idea or chart to decode the VIN on a 2017 Tundra?

The title doesn’t give any further description beyond “Toyota Tundra Pickup Tru.”

I searched the web for decoding the vin on 2017 Tundra, I have gone to many sites and some say I have a TRD Pro, one says I have an SR5.

There are some threads on this site that show charts for 2019 and 2020 but no 2017.

Note: the previous owner said he put TRD Sport decals on the bed, added Texas Truck emblems in order to sell the truck. He is in his 70’s and thought a young pup would be enticed to buy his rig if he out the decals and emblems on the truck.

A TRD Pro will have stamped letters in the bed. Go to Toyotaowners.com and input your VIN there. It will tell you what trim you have.
