3rd gen tundra sr tailgate lock and bed rails

Does the 3rd gen tundra SR tailgate lock? Also, does the bed come with the rails to add a tonneau cover? Found a possibly really good deal on a new SR, seems like a great truck

 

I’m not sure about the tailgate lock. But all the SR models I have seen online look to come from the factory with the bed rails. Should have no issue mounting a bed cover to the SR model.

 

I don't know whether your tail gate locks or not. I have a 1794 and the rails are for hold downs. New trucks have 4 in a package under the back seat. At least mine did. I have a flush mount tonneau cover and it allows for the rails when you specify that you have them, but there's no room for the hold-downs.

 

My 2024 Limited came with cargo rails. When I ordered my BAK MX4 flip fold hard bed cover, there was a selection to install with cargo rails. Essentially, the kit included top rails for the cover and brackets to lower the cargo rails. Some brands/models do not require rails. Most web sites have installation instructions that would help guide you. I’m not sure about the OEM cover accessory.

Also Toyota.com has information about each grade (model) standard features which may help you regarding the tailgate lock. My Limited does have it, but not sur if the SR does.

 

22 SR5 here. Tailgate locks, comes stock with the rails and 4 tie downs and the tie downs are functional with the Truxedo soft tonneau cover.

 

24 SR 4x2 Can confirm even base base locks and bed rails are optional.
