Air Recirculation

Hello,
Is there a way to make the air recirculation stay on? Does anyone know why it turns off on its own? Tried searching and found threads related to older models saying hold the button down for fives seconds, but that didn't work.

 

It doesn't work in all modes.

 

I rarely change HVAC modes. When I start the vehicle most of the times it's on and then at some point it turns itself off so I turn it back on again. Sometimes I start the vehicle and turn it on then at some point it turns itself off.

 

it i about the hvac system if it senses a power draw it will start up engine you by pass this you take a chance of running down battery. Although if you can get a hold of a schematic of the dash wiring and hvac system you could use a toggle switch to toggle o-1 Just an idea

 

I think you can change whether recirculation auto-offs or changes with mode in carista/techstream.
