Was hearing noise that sounded like loose metal on metal when I would hit bumps. Turned out it was this snow that got really icy. Anyone have this problem?

Yes very common. Every pick up truck is going to trap snow and leaves in that gap. It’s the laws of nature. Luckily snow melts and leaves blow away. Only a Ridgeline or Ford Maverick won’t have that problem.

I used to get leaves in there. I put a piece of weather stripping from a door sweep, problem solved.
