Recall on app

So I went to Toyota dealer for fuel line fix. They did not want to do the recall first also had ecu parking brake reprogrammed. The fix for the fuel line is a plastic piece that is out in open and can rub against the brake line if it's too close when it was installed on truck. May rub and wear a hole and cause a fire. They told me tank had to come down and I would loose most of my fuel? Which in end was not the case? It's near rear of truck by gas tank. Just wanted it completed for my family and no worries What a pain for a simple item?

 

Also recall on app has not disappeared yet?

 

It will go away after a couple of weeks. My case with the parking brake and key fob notice.
My parts are on order for the fuel line temp fix and was told below 1/2 tank of fuel.

 

Simple item, maybe. Simple procedure to replace, not so much.
