2023 Tundra had transmission replaced/broken drivers side seat panel

This is the first Toyota I have ever owned-a 2023 Tundra TRD- and it has not been a great experience. At 13k miles my transmission was replaced and now my seat cover is broken. My dealership has stated that the seat cover is not covered by warranty. My touch screen is now intermittently turning off-which the dealer checked and couldn't find anything citing it was probably an upgrade on my iPhone.
1) Has anyone else had the transmission replaced on a new Tundra?
2) Does anyone have a reference to the warranty that states the seat panel is covered?
3) Has anyone else experienced issue with the touch screen going blank?

 

There’s been a handful or so of transmission replacements posted on here. Brand new design, bound to have a few. Seat panel is hit or miss on warranty, try sweet talking a different dealer. Many have gotten “the first one free” and been declined on round 2.

Tell dealer to check T-SB-0007-24 Front Seat Cushion Shield Loose/Broken. Just came out like 2 weeks ago, Feb 15th. I just brought my truck in last week and they are replacing my passenger side panel free on my 2022.

 

Thank. you TakiEvo-I contacted Toyota Brand Mgt. who assigned me a case manager. The case manager contacted my dealership and made sure the seat panel would be covered under warranty.

So far, yes. Although, anytime I feel a slight anything with it I get concerned-such a bummer it happened, but also glad it was fixed. Fingers crossed!

 

These new mega speed transmissions that are computer logic controlled tend to not handle the off situations like our old mechanical 4 speeds did. That’s good and bad. They shift with better authority, but are normally bitter smooth. It’s those jerky inputs where we hesitate, or suddenly change the input where they hunt and sometimes clunk into gear. Just drive it and don’t worry. I’m sure they got you fixed up.
