I was looking into getting the Magnuson SC specifically for the Tundra. It claims to give it 560hp and 563tq to the crank if it’s totally stock. I wanted to get some long tube headers to go along with the SC as well. Was curious if it needs any internal engine work done so that nothing blows up on me or fails to work if I’m driving down the road.

Per the dyno I am getting close to 500ftlbs of torque at 90mph. I have to look at the dyno sheet for horsepower

I did NOT do anything other than at the s/c

Bayou spartan is that with the same SC? How long did it take for install and price of install. I have a few mods done already

Recommend asking in the Performance subforum or searching here: https://www.tundras.com/threads/general-supercharger-thread.85513/

First off there are two Magnusons, TVS 1900 (old TRD blower) and TVS 2650 (new blower).

The pulley size used will determine the power output, as long as you don't go crazy with the pulley size chasing power you'll be fine.

Several of us including myself have been running ~500 WHP/~500TQ or slightly higher to the wheels on stock engines. Go much much higher and your engine will visit grenade town.

On their own with the right headers and exhaust you can gain ~40WHP with headers but on a blower build that may not be the case.

The headers may not add much if any power but they will drop the PSI needed to make the same power which is less restriction.

Tuning for headers can be a pain and you may need to relocate your O2 bung and delete the rear O2 all together. Clearly it can be done you just need a tuner with the correct know how.

Ancient history, like 2016, but do keep an eye on air/fuel mixtures. Brother was running rather huge Toyota, five dealership, parts dept. and picked up two of the recently discontinued dealer installed TRD "kit's" at a really ridiculous price. Short story long we ended up with both, still have one in boxes ... the take off, other went down the road via E bay motors. Made the mistake of attempting to hang one on a Flex Fuel engine which was apparently a no no at that time. Once the brain box and injector issues were solved ran fine with no additional part change out's.
