Question for the folks using Thule or other roof racks...

    Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
    Did you apply any PPF to the area beneath the mounts? I'm just wondering if those rubber foot pads are going to leave a mark over time.

    Yes, they will. However, I never really took off the rack, and it was on the roof so I didn't give a shit if they left a mark.

    I've used them on other vehicles with the same type of mounts without issues and no PPF. Make sure that area on the truck and the mount is clean first. Also i would take them off when not using them, so that probably helped too.
