I recently upgraded to 35" and the ride is incredible! The look and the feel on the road is much better than the stock 20". I also have the OEM 3" lift.

What I have noticed is that stopping is not as good. I plan on adding more things like the CBI Rear Bumper with High Rise for the Spare and equipment. I will add a Cap for sleeping and other equipment.

Since I can notice the difference in braking with just these addons I feel new brakes are in order. Are there any recommendations on how to increase my braking and what brand of Brakes I should go with for the overall system?

    I am running Method N05 NV 17" rims on K02 35"

    Thanks ~ Kurt

Installed Powerbrakes on my 1st Gen about six months ago. The performance is outstanding, but you "pay to play."

Thanks Flyfisher... I did some research on these and they will not fit my 17" Method N05's. Still digging. The braking is night and day (for me at least) between the Stock 20" and the K02 35". Really hoping I don't have to buy new rims... 18" will fit the Powerbrakes, but MAN 3K+ for these and no Vaseline really hurts! ...

That is one thing no one has ever mentioned on any of the Vids I have watched when they are creating these Overland Vehicles... Braking is greatly reduced and you will probably have to upgrade.

Another huge vote for Alcon. I didn’t look to see if they sell for Gen3 Tundras when I bought mine though…

I know the Gen2 set will clear 17” wheels.

Alcon sells them for gen 3’s; they are included in the group buy. Alcon has two different kits for Gen 3’s depending on 17” or 18” wheel choice. So, ya, they are 17” wheel compatible.

Get some more aggressive pads to see if that takes care of it first. $300 vs $6k
