Rear seat measurement in an AC

We have 2 dogs (both ~45-lbs, beautiful mutts) and I've not been considering an AC in my search for a FGT because of the dogs.

However, I currently have a TURD gen (in the parlance of our times) which is a "double cab" non-crew max or whatever they call it. The space in the back is almost useless for humans but we put our 2 dogs back there all the time in their beds and it's not an issue at all, even on longer drives.

Anyone have a measurement on the rear lower seat of the AC so I can compare and possibly consider looking at ACs?

 

I don't have measurements handy because my back seat is currently out, but I can share my experience with this. I looked into building a platform for our two dogs and found it really wasn't ideal. There isn't enough space to contain the dogs or for two medium sized dogs to lay down and be comfortable. And our Husky would end up standing and breathing in my face while I'm driving.

Our dogs were 70 and 40lbs for reference. Our solution was to put them in the bed with plenty of ventilation.

 

'03 AC 4x4 V8 rear seat rough measurements:
Seat height: about 11"
Seat depth: about 16"
Seat width: about 54"
Sear back height: about 30"

 

Have FG Tacoma DC with SnugTop. 4 large huskies have fit great under the SnugTop. Bedrug also has helped for their comfort, but don't think those are available for purchase anymore except as a cut to fit universal pad that would be nicer for them than a slippery metal bed or plastic bed liner. IMHO Taco DC is quite acceptable rear seating if that was your preference, dogs or humans, but don't know how it compares to Tundra 3G DC. Of course Taco only has a 6cyl.

 

@ToyotaDude thanks for the measurements, confirms that it will be too tight back there for them. The rear seat depth on my TURD gen is 21" and that is just enough for them to be comfortable.

Both dogs typically travel with us when we're on long road trips, so hanging out in the bed isn't an option.

If your dog's breath is anything like mine, this would be more dangerous than me being on the road after a six pack, wearing a blindfold.
