This was an extra I had back when I bought my 2018 tundra. I want to say it was off eBay.

Solid no drill option for our trucks, feels extremely sturdy when installed. Took me 10-15 minutes to remove.

Swapped out my stock battery for an X2 AGM group 27F. 92AH instead of 75AH. More reserve power for my fridge, lights and heater.

Rails from KBVoodoo showed up today.

One of the bolt threads to mount the hardware was damaged but everything else went great.

I'm running a ton of lights hooked to my Garmin and will end up running a second Garmin in the bed for lighting I'm running in my camper. I also have a fridge that I'll eventually hook up, but for now I'm using a portable power source. Curious if you think this battery is enough for some light overlanding?

Also, ever since I started wiring all of this to my battery, my start/stop at stop lights never works. I constantly get the "battery charging" message. If you've experienced this, has that battery upgrade helped?

Yeah I ran the Group 31 version in my Tacoma for years to Death Valley/Mojave/Baja/Canada and it was solid. I’m a lazy camper and I want everything to be quick and fast so I didn’t want to store/haul/set up a power cube when the truck can power it. My stock battery wouldn’t activate the start/stop feature anymore either. Just this morning I sat for about 1.5 minutes at a light with the engine off. I don’t love the start/stop feature but I kinda forgot I had it till this morning when it worked again. The Group 27F has 22% more reserve than the stock flooded acid battery.

Good to know! Might go this route since I have portable power for my fridge when we use it. Hell of a lot cheaper than a dual battery setup.

I'm assuming this is a drop in replacement and fits fine?

I really like what Bulletpoint has, how was the mount, I read that you have to drill holes and mount with screws, how did that go? Not sure I could get a drill in there just right with windshield. If this were mounted and then not wanted in place later, would that little rubber mat that came in the slot cover up the holes? I have a hard time with commitments ;)

I like the D-rings and the rod holder location. I just cut and old 2x8 for a divider. Rod storage is on my list to figure out. Unfortunately, many of my rods are 8-9' long and that gets a little high for overpasses.

lol my rod holders are there just for when I need to tie lures or if I’m just driving down the beach. I wouldn’t go very fast with my rods on that 1x8. My bed cover will be here soon so my rods will ride under the cover while traveling

My build thread addresses it, 94R is a direct replacement and the 27F I purchased required a little persuasion of the center strap

the tray pops out and then you drill it. Took about 10 mins to set up. Year the Mat would cover the holes. It’s 5 small holes

Swapped over my non-heated SR5 steering wheel to a heated one from I believe a platinum (blue stitching). Also swapped over the matte grey trim from my truck as the platinum is more gloss silver. Was working on adding the door panel strip LEDs but got sent one of the door lights that was in the wrong box so ended up with two driver fronts instead of all 4 corners.

gives me time to do the radio upgrade while I’m in there at least.

Added the black console cover and console tray. I also modified the tray with a small cup holder to hole my vape. Also installed cup grips.

Looks awesome! 0 degree angle? How was bolting it on?

If you don’t want to post here you can DM, but I’m interested in the gap between the rear wheel and the rear of the slider, and the gap from the front wheel to the slider. I want to see how much of the rocker is vulnerable to a rock if you’re able to take photos of it

I really want a platform style roof rack, but I am not okay with having holes drilled in my roof. Even by professionals. Good to know that people are starting to make something like this now. You're a lifesaver!

They jut straight out so yes it should be 0.

How was the bolt on? Honestly, the instructions were confusing for the driver side and the friend that helped me do this said the same thing. Read them twice and be sure you have someone help you.

Quote me again or dm me if I don’t update you tomorrow but I’ll aim to get that for you tomorrow morning.

Today I learned that the console box pocket was precisely designed to accomidate two North American Regulation sized hotdogs. That's why you buy a Tundra.

Finally got around to installing the Diode Dynamics grille light bar. Installed the TourTop tonneau cover awhile back and threw on the RTT I took from my old taco.

Well despite getting sideswiped by an 18 wheeler last night I got my marker lights installed today. We were very fortunate to walk away safely and not sustain detrimental damage to the truck.IMG_3569.jpg
