Speaking of spending too much on Lego.

Bags 1 and 2 of Titanic.

You can see the forecastle being roughed in and the step down to the well deck behind it.

I know we have spent thousands, but not all at once :D

Over 100 sets in a bin that the kids choose from, build and then put back.

Mrs. PolishedTRD generally frowns upon me bringing car/truck/dirt bike parts into the house to work on them, but I believe I've found the exception! Lulz.

Heck yeah! Probably my favorite of the exotic cars - the genius that went into raising/lowering the spoiler, the luggage in the frunk, plus the short videos explaining the collaboration between Lego and Lambo.

EDIT: I feel dumb - I saw "Lamborghini" in the link but didn't click it until after posting. Same color, different Lambo's, haha! I need a "foot-in-mouth" emoji!

If you haven't gotten it yet, do yourself a favor and get the Ford GT. It's a fun build and looks great

I'm digging those shelves too. Do you have any info on those?

yeah I wish it was THAT Lambo…..and really hope they get away from making the same old colors. This is the same color as the mustang and the Porsche is the same color as the raptor. Just hope they come out with more variety. I guess it is so they have “stock” colors to make it easier building the sets across the board but I just don’t want the same color cars / trucks all the time

8...9...10...and part of 12 because it has the parts that lock the two forward sections of the ship together. Why those few pieces arent included in 10 are beyond me...

Finished the mini lambo huracan build. It was fun - I need to get one of the huge sets and take days / weeks to finish. I get immersed in these 800-1000 pieces and finish them in hours.

Curious, this has to be Lepin or some other building block brand, right? How was the quality and fit?

I think this was it…..I thought it was nifeliz brand but maybe not?

    https://www.amazon.com/JMBricklayer..._csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm

Fit and finish of the knockoff brands that I have ordered are actually surprisingly good. I have noticed a couple of the longer pieces feeling a bit flimsy but that’s it. I had one of the sets missing 4 pieces but that’s been a one off so far.

This thing took me about 10 hours spread across 3 days, I wish it was easier to see the engine given how much work the “insides” were.

It takes restraint to not fly through even the big sets.

Ran all our sets through the Lego app. Took some time, but it was fun to see the older sets we haven't built in years. Here were the results, 50,000+ pieces!

I tried doing that last night with a few sets, but it would only bring me to the build pages, not the register your sets page.

    Hung the space shuttle today.

I'm blown away to think that the space shuttle and Titanic were only about 70 years apart.

It’s absolutely crazy. Look at the difference between the wright brothers and jets, 40ish years. Orville died in 1948 so he would have seen planes as weapons of war, as commercial transport, and even jet aircraft. Remarkable.

Also I just want to say I love your taste in legos.

What does everyone use to clean them? Just get one of those small dust busters with a brush tip?
