I normally get the Michelin Defender LTX M/s2 but due to money issue this time around, I’ll be looking for the next best tire.
I like how the Defender doesn’t wear as fast, quiet, good traction and overall performance. Only issue I have with this tire is the price.
I know there won’t be a straight forward answer but some guidance will be appreciated.
Not looking for anything off-road or anything, just good tire for city driving.

no suggestions from me. i wish normal AT tires were only $300 a piece.

maybe you can find a cheap set of takeoffs from a dealership

I got MICHELIN XLTAS2 A/S 275/65R18 116T 13686 115,000 KM WARRANTY from Costco last week. $330 CDN. I was told it's just a rebranded defender made for sams club and costco. Mileage is good, ride is smooth, good in snow. No complaints.

Not sure where you live. If you get snow, avoid the Bridgestone Duelers.

Id suck it up and get the defenders. If you are used to running them, others will probably disappoint. That or keep an eye out for someone selling their stock take offs when they install larger tires. You can often find the take off for super cheap with little to no miles.

I agree on the comment above on Bridgestone, Ill never buy that brand, bad experiences in the past.

Here are some free road tires, basically new https://www.tundras.com/threads/free-tires-oem-takeoffs.137917/
