    I used to fab/weld/polish/install stainless hand rails. The hand rails that lived near automobile traffic seemed to get a rusty haze to them.
    I would imagine some yearly maintinance such as a polish or wax would keep this issue at bay.
    To add to this, if you scratch stainless with carbon steel, the area will develop surface rust.

    I thought that the article was a good read. Personally I would never buy nor own a Tesla truck. And have zero interest in owning any EV.
