My bushing and tools will be here Friday. Anyone that has done their ECGS bushing also needed to do the CV Axle to? I would think if there is any damage to the mating surface I should be able to lightly sand it and still use it.

Installed the bushing on my friend’s truck. No need to replace axle.

You will know when you pull it out. I would have an axle and seal when changing the bearing. When my went on my 2020 the axle has to be changed.

I had it pretty bad and there was no damage on my CV after 45K miles of dealing with it. I would doubt you need to replace it.

    Also, I wouldn’t sand it.
