I recently installed JBA upper control arms. Surprisingly, it went pretty well.

The biggest problem I'm having is adding grease to the zerk fittings.

More grease squirts out of the fittings than actually goes into the bushings and joint. Although I was eventually able to get it done, it was a huge mess.

I contacted JBA, great customer service, and they thought I might have a 7mm fitting on my gun and not a 1/4" fitting.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I would love to know what brand grease gun most of you are using.

I thought I bought I nice grease gun on Amazon, but I can't see where it is labeled either as a 7mm or 1/4 inch.

I can't believe this is the hardest part of the install.

    Thanks so much.

Occasionally I have to loosen a new zerk a 1/4 turn to get it to take grease. No idea why.

I ended up taking the fitting off my older cheap grease gun that I use to lubricate my drive shaft and put it on my new, more expensive, grease gun.

The older fitting seemed to work fine, go figure.

    Thanks for the help.
