IMG_1272.jpg IMG_1565.jpg Stock Bilstein shocks gave me the standard 2.5” low front end. I purchased the adjustable 5100 front shocks and had the top setting of 2.5 used. Now my front end is 2” high. Any reason for a 4.5” change? Trying to level truck. Should I go to middle setting or bottom setting to get close to level?
I did have a legit shop do the install. Before and after pics attached.

When I installed 5100s on my 2nd gen, I read that the highest position for the Bilsteins would make the front end a little higher than the rear. I went with the mid-setting and the front end is a little lower than the rear end which is what I was going for. Also, make sure the "cup" the spring is resting on is not installed upside down. That will give a heck of a lift. See the picture with the big X across the wrong way.

I tested multiple different lift heights with a jack prior to choosing a simple 1 inch lift (CB .5 spacers). And I found that the Tundra doesn’t look right (front high) when it’s perfectly leveled. Even at certain angles the PRO looks odd…

A CB 1 inch shackle would make it look much better when empty.

Wow, that's pretty awesome... Question w/pictures, suggestion/solution with schematics, BAM! Problem solved. Well done Matt.

So did you redo them yet? We need pics of the fix.

That looks really good! So that's the top setting?

Probably where I'll eventually be sitting with mine. Good to see the differences since we have similar trucks.

Yes. Gives you 2.3” lift to level with rear. I’m really happy with ride quality as well as the look.

Oh wow, I was guessing 33's but not quite. It usually seems to take more tire to fill out our tall fenders, but that looks really good!

This is encouraging! The practical side of me (more of a sliver than a side) doesn't want to go too much bigger than stock tire size, but the rest of me wants something beefy.
