My driver seat is rocking when I hit the throttle. I've had the seat out and couldn't find the issue. The rails are bolted tight to the floor. I suspect the seat itself may not be tightly secured to the rail on the front right side. When the seat rocks, I can feel it from that side.

I guess if the seats a rockin, don’t come knockin.

All jokes aside, there are 4 bolts that attached the seat brackets to the floor of the cab. There’s also two bolts that are at the seat back hinge. I think there’s another 4 bolts that attached the sliders to the seat frame.

I think it's the bolt to the frame and the seat on the front right side that's the culprit. I just have to figure out how to get to it without mangling my electric seat.

I took my (non-power) seats apart last summer. This is the only pic i have of it. Perhaps you can glean something from it?

More than likely you will have to remove the seat to access this. Older Subarus have these bolts come loose (mostly from continuous weight transfer) and all of my techs that do this job have to remove the entire seat to tighten these down.

Makes sense. I'm a big boy and this first happened when off-roading, about 3 years ago and has gotten worse the last time I off-roaded the truck. Usually from a steap, rocky incline.

Removing the seat from the truck is the easy part. Accessing where the seat meets the rails is where I'm not sure how to get to.
My seat is electric so there's tons of stuff under it in the way. I guess I'll have to figure out how to take it apart.

Once you get it out, turn the seat upside down on a bench or the tailgate to make more sense of what’s underneath

Yeah I've done that before, at Jamboree in the dark. I'll have to do it again, but use my noggin this time and do it in the daylight haha

If you need parts, I’ll have what’s left of DK’s seat

Solved with a 3/8" spacer on the rear left floor bolt.
