Have a set of 0-3" FOX coilovers going to accutune for their custom valving. These come with 700lb springs from FOX. My Pro is basically factory weight, amp steps, light bar and a stereo upgrade. No plans on bumpers or anything like that. Will I be ok with the 700s or should I switch to the 600s. I want ride quality, no high speed offroading here.
    Thanks

Have Accutune decide. Valving and springs go together, if you told them you want the best setup for road comfort they should take both into account.

see what Accutune recommends with your revalve, they have it figured out.

While there is some merit in spring rate changes, typically more of a balance for optimal preload in relation to suspension geometry rather than comfort. Most of the "comfort" you're looking for is obtained through valving. And don't forget that your tires are part of the ride quality equation.

No amount of suspension tuning is going to help you if you're riding on 28" x 16" wide wheels with 33" tall, f rated tires inflated to 65 psi.

As others have said @AccuTune Offroad will get you squared away. But as all things in life, expectation management and compromise will be key.

I for one am a satisfied AccuTune customer.

Well when I spoke with accutune today the recommended a new 600lb spring. I just wanted some real world opinions if anyone has changed from 600 to 700 or 700 down to 600.
From what I can tell the factory PRO springs are 625 so I dont want to go too soft. I'm all about letting the suspension do the work here and my tire set up should be no problem (D rated 35 on an 18" wheel).
Again I want a good on road ride but don't want to lose the offroad capability. I also want to make sure i get the 3" of lift I'm looking for

    It's good
You should probably listen to Accutune. I went 650 to 700, but I wanted to limit pre-load when I added weight. This is on a Gen 1 DC. The 700s came in handy because I'm still adjusted higher on the collar than I've ever been now with the armor and winch. I think you want the lightest spring that will support your weight and shocks/valving from there.

3" total. I run two shims on my factory PRO set up now and I want atleast that height out of the new set up

Shocks arrive at Accutune today. I opted for the 600lb spring upgrade. Hopefully it rides like a Caddy, ha!

While we are on the topic of springs, does anyone know whether its safe to powdercoat a spring a different color? I want to ditch the King Blue
