Currently: Python alarm with autostart, JDMCar console organizer. About to do: Trd Sway bar, Amp Research bed extender, ESP under seat storage, DIY wireless phone charging mod, Tyger "star armor" running boards, Husky xact fit mats. Thinking about doing very soon and researching more: Lift or level kit (with closest to stock ride), replace the current 20" wheels with 18" trd pro wheels and BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 Radial Tire -LT275/70R18/E 125/122R (or similar) Start of summer adding: Full stereo replacement with android auto/wifi head unit, midrange to high end speakers and amp, JL audio pre designed dual sub Tundra enclosure, Yakima 5 bike tilting hitch carrier with snowboard attachment, darkest privacy tint all around, LED headlights, possibly hard cover of some kind.
Hi. I'm trying to get instructions for how to remove the little plastic over on the back of the inner rear view mirror so I can hook up a radar detector. Thanks for any help!

I was told by a tech at Toyota flat head screwdriver would work, but it was starting to destroy it.

You can Insert the 2 pins into the back of the connector. Let me see if I can find the pics from mine before I moved my radar down to my Rago.

Now I'm running into the issue that my wires are different than yours. I tried red to red and black to black and it didn't work. Sigh

I have black followed by red followed by orange followed by brown on the top row and yellow and green on the bottom row. Any suggestions?

Yeah I made sure! It works with the cig lighter plug it. I also disconnected the harness from mirror and plugged it back in to make sure it had power and my mirror is definitely getting power through that harness. Thanks so much for helping!

I took my tundra in to get brakes done and asked the dealership to test the 6 wires and let me know which one was the 12v and which was the ground. They said they could not figure it out and to wire the thing to my cigarette lighter. Sigh
