    Good Morning Fellow Tundra's,
I have narrowed down my slider purchase to 2 vendors and would like your input !
SDHQ sliders versus the BUD Built's ?
I like the look of both company's but SDHQ says they sliders are the lightest weight on the market and I know BUD Built is at the opposite end of the spectrum with the "Beefy Sliders" being the heaviest sliders on the market...
I am about to order some sliders in the next week so please give me some feedback/opinion and keep in mind that I will be using my sliders as a step for my kids as well as protective sliders so dual purpose is what I'm looking for....
    Thanks !

I've owned a pair of the all pro Dom sliders for my FJ and loved them. I love their kick out. Worked well for my boy as well as myself getting stuff on the roof

There's also Demello. I had his sliders and other bits on my FJ. I should be receiving the set for my Tundra shortly. Been very happy with what he produces.

I just ordered some Demello's the other day, was pretty happy with their response times and build time. Also, if you can pick up and avoid shipping charges - might save you a couple hundred bucks.

Keep in mind the type of material used. We use 4130 chromoly steel (and I believe the only company that does) which has a higher tensile strength than what everybody else uses (mild or the "upgraded" DOM). This allows us to use a thinner wall which equates to less weight while still keeping the strength higher than anybody else. We are the only company on the market that makes the first mount off the front body mount as if you were to drop that would be the first point of impact. Other companies do their first mount 6-8 inches back. We stock our sliders ready to go both raw and powder coated in textured black and have no problem shipping to a residence.

Another happy SDHQ slider owner here. I really liked the light weight and design, while they seem plenty strong enough, having supported the weight of my Tundra with out a problem. (On a jack.) Also doesn't hurt that SDHQ were absolutely fantastic to deal with, even with a pain in the neck Canuck customer!

Here is a few pictures from lifting my truck via the sliders. We have picked the whole truck up on our lift by just the sliders as well but I dont have any pictures of it.

Can you lift from the outside tube with a hi-lift?

Can't really speak for BUD Built, but SDHQ sliders are definitely worth getting. My first mod and have saved my rocker panels multiple times since I'm a straight noob when it comes to trucks and going off-road. Plus it makes my truck look sexy as hell;)
