Looking to install backup camera, need suggestions

    Hey ya'll i'm looking to install a backup camera on my 2012 Toyota Tundra crewmax and was looking to get any input on whats the best out there for the price. I have an aftermarket stereo system (rosen piranha) so I would like to hook the camera up to that. Just in need of either the sole camera that I can drill a hole in the existing tailgate latch and wire under the truck or a full new latch with an integrated camera. Thank in advance!

    Check out the Ibeam TE-TUTGC. It's a replacement tailgate handle for the 07-13 Tundra has the guidelines. I put an Ibeam on my 2000 and really like it.

    Looking for a recommendation for adding a backup camera in my 2008 Tundra, still has the stock head unit so I think I probably need to replace that I'd prefer the bigger screen. Or has anyone tried the screen in the rear view mirror?

    Mostly want it for hooking up boat trailer, but view while backing up a bit too.

    It is the OEM. Install wasn't too hard, it came with a hole saw of the right size.

    Sorry to keep bothering you with questions. Can you see the edge of the rear bumper with this camera? Does the camera lens fog up in cold weather or rain?

    I have it pointed such that I can see the trailer hitch. No problems with fogging up, but if it rains you have to wipe the water drops off. It's less than $15 and works great, dunno what else to say.
