I currently have a 2006 Tacoma Sport, double cab with 6' bed. Looking to replace it with a Tundra but I have specific requirements and I don't think it's possible do a build like I want. Please tell me if I am wrong.

    4WD non-Hybrid
    Crew Max with 6.5' bed
    Fabric interior (no leather)
Paint matched bumpers, tailgate and door handles
    NO BLACK WHEELS

Dealer would be better to ask. Build your own websites are junk.

The first three items shouldn't be an issue; the paint match and not-black wheels shouldn't be a problem for a dealer or aftermarket shop. Probably cheaper to take care of the paint match and wheels after the purchase than to find the unicorn combination of options that might get you there.

I wish it was that easy but it's not. Can't get CrewMax with 6.5' bed and TRD Sport package. It's only available with DoubleCab/6.5' bed and CrewMax/5.5' bed. I'll have to confirm that with a dealer. I can't image that they can do something that the online builder can't. I've spent hours with it at this point.

I'd be willing to swap a set of a tires/wheels. But giving up a brand new truck and (as someone suggested) paying someone to take it apart and paint it just doesn't make sense to me. If that's what it comes to, I'll be bummed for sure.

Are you suggesting that it's not possible to submit an order for the exact trim, options and color that I want - even if the online builder says that it's possible? I don't care how long it takes.

SR5 Premium checks all your boxes, except the tailgate will have the black trim at the top. Maybe just vinyl wrap that part?

Nice walk around video of SR5 CM 4x4 6.5 longbed. Really nice looking truck. This one appears to even have heated cloth seats from the factory, is this new for 2024? I had looked for heated cloth seats in 2023 and i don't think it was available as an option at the time. Nice truck OP, be patient and you will find the truck you want.

Agreed. I would love a heated option for my cloth seats. I've never been a big fan of leather seats. The new "softex" is a big improvement but I still prefer cloth.

Finding Tundras with 6.5' beds is tough.
