I blacked out my dash yesterday. While I had everything apart, I noticed several unused connectors. I have 2021 Tundra TRD Pro, which is built on Limited (‘19-‘21). TRD Pro doesn’t have some of the features you will find on Platinum and 1794, plus TRD Pro is not pre-wired for these features. Therefore, I was surprised to find unused/pre-wired connectors. I would appreciate your help identifying what these connectors are for.

    Passenger Footwell
    Connector A, white, 9 pin
    Connector B, black, 2 pin

Center Console, despite the appearance, they are not plugged into anything, left of my 12v outlet are (2) blanks
    Connector D, white, 4 pin
    Connector E, black, 8 pin

Passenger Footwell, my truck has bed lights and power tailgate lock. My guess is that Tap E is for power tailgate lock. However, OEM power tailgate lock connects in this area using wire harness connectors, it connects to MJ1 (blue), instead of tapping into white and red wires.
    Tap E, 2-wire

"D" looks like where my (2015) usb is, and looks like in your photo, only the first two pins are connected. Might be able to turn that into a usb charging outlet? Start the truck and see if there's any voltage there. Would be around 5v to power a usb outlet I think.

the wiring harness for the instrument panel is the same for all the trims in 20/21 - reduces the number of SKUs.

C is for parking sonar (J125)
D is for glass break sensor (J58)
E is the Pop-N-Lock tailgate lock. The factory one uses a proper “breakout” harness to avoid T-Taps <shudder>

digging through the EWD, your A is J191 listed as “Option Connector (Towing Converter)”

B isn’t specifically showing up in my search.

    others you didn’t find:
J35 24-pin for parking sonar ecu
    J57 8-pin glass break ecu

Re. J191. What does Towing Converter do? I read that some 3rd gen Tundras are missing Towing Converters and folks added them on their own. I tow a jetski. I had travel trailers before, but not currently. Can I add a Towering Converter to my TRD Pro? What would be the benefit?

Re. J58. I'm not sure if my Tundra has an alarm. To test the alarm, I unlocked the truck using the metal key then I opened the door, but the alarm didn't go off. 2021 Tundra brochure states that TRT Pros included "Anti-theft system with alarm and engine immobilizer". If I do have the alarm, can I add the Glass Breakage Sensor, is it "plug-and-play"?

You have an alarm, but not the glass break system. It’s extra, but mostly plug and play.

plus having the dealer (or someone with techstream) turn it on in main ECU.

No idea in the “towing converter” - that’s just what the EWD says that plug is for.
