I threw my new MHSL light on it. Here are some pics.
    The old and burnt unit.

Here is the reflection of the white LEDs. This part of the light should have been installed upside down I think to reflect the light more downward toward the bed instead of straight back and up somewhat. As you can see from the pic, I was above the light assembly and looking straight into the reflection along the bottom of the center section.

05-06 FSM for AC trucks shows it as being here, someone posted a pic of it before, you can see it from the footwell, at least where the connector plugs in, there are pics of it in the long ass RS3200 thread:

How are you feeling about it, seal-wise, fitment-wise?

Well fuck me, I guess I could've gotten to it while I had the gauges out. At least taking off the gauges and the A-pillar are pretty easy. I didn't want to remove the console or my driver seat today. Which is why I still haven't finished wiring the back up camera. It's wired to the Pioneer and the wires are ran thru the dash and kick panel to under the carpet. But it rained from about midnight to noon today, so I didn't feel like crawling around under the truck today. Will finish backup cam tomorrow and probably tackle the keyless antenna.
Still need to install the 5100's and the desert ar or LED pod. Getting shit done slow n steady this weekend haha

It fit ok. I wanted to go ahead and throw it on there but I not going to drive around on rainy days until that other perimeter gasket gets here.

I wish it showed where the antenna was. It was the grey wire wrapped around the steering column on my 99 Tacoma (RS3000). Extending it into the A-pillar took my keyless range from 10 feet to far enough that the doors would relock before I got there, if i took more than 30 seconds.

That 30 second timeout has gotten me so many times. You'd figured I would've learned by now to just take the keys with me and unlock it near the truck instead of leaving the keys in the house, walking and having my hand 2 mm away from grabbing the door handle before it locks back up on me just to piss me off. LOL. I think there is a way to change that timeout with TechStream but I haven't looked into it.

There's a thread on TS that shows it. It may be in a PDF attachment, but I remember seeing it. Or was it over here? I'm pretty sure it was over there.

It's in the programming info, linked at the top of the megathread, 4th or 5th paragraph. Look in the RS3200 programming instructions. Use those to toggle off the auto-lock feature.

I'll see tomorrow if it's back there on my 03.
I just changed a bulb yesterday, but wasn't even thinking to look back there. Haha. Good thing these trucks are crazy easy to get the gauges out of.

My Moog inners have been sitting on my bench waiting for install for a month. For some reason I've been dreading it. I really don't want to pay for another alignment where they do a half ass job.

Didn't do it today as I was waiting to get the other little parts for the door bottom seal to see if they fit. Over the last week or 2 I have ordered the rocker plugs and the little plastic clips from Amazon. Rocker was missing a couple when I bought the truck and when cleaning between the door and seal over time I think I busted the clips that hold that on. Both of these parts are either way too expensive through Toyota for what they are or not sold separately without the weather strip which is like 60+ dollars.
Now I just need to figure out a way to effectively clean up inside the rocker really well sprayed some surface shield up in there before winter road crap.

Preach. I used to take my truck to a shop right by my house, but after the last few trips, I've all but sworn them off. Last alignment I asked for, truck still pulled to the right. Asked them to rotate the tires too...you know how I know they didn't? I had a slow leak in front passenger tire and guess which tire was still hissing when checked the next day?

I go to the "specialty" 4x4 shops and they won't make any adjustments to my SPC control arms. I even brought a dozen donuts for the shop. Nice guys but they do the bare minimum.

I took mine to the local Lexus dealer; all the techs have modified trucks and SUVs, the tech listened and knew what I wanted, he did a ok job but claimed he was maxed out due to seized lower bushings; so either he was fibbing or the last shop that aligned was fibbing.
I know my lowers are torn, but never had anyone say they were seized. Not sure if I want to do solos, oem lowers or just bushings; my friend who helped do the diffs with me said replacing bushings isn’t that terrible

Did the timing belt today on the new truck. I don't know what kind of shop did the last belt, but this is why I have trust issues. Good to know it's correctly timed!
