2.5 light bar mount

I apologize in advance if this is already been posted, and if you have a link to it, I would appreciate that. My question is for anyone that has installed a light bar in the lower grille. I noticed that there is a metal plate behind it that seems like it would be a somewhat solid mounting surface. If anyone has done it, is there any hints, tricks of instructionals for a guy to look at? Thank you.

If you are doing the 30 from Diode Dynamics it will fail,mine has twice. Now I have additional support both front and rear...we will see.

 

The Baja Designs 30” mount for the lower grille is rock solid. I’ve got a 30” OnX6 down there and it absolutely kills the 40” S8 in my hood bulge.
